on the block… May 3, 2010

So, turns out infant-size things are a LOT quicker to knit than adult-size things.

Currently blocking is baby girl’s very first handmade clothing item – the Little Coffee Bean cardigan by Elizabeth Smith. Only in this case it’s more of a little jelly bean! It’s my first time picking up stitches along an edge, and doing a button band, and I’m feeling a bit pleased with myself.

Take that, insipid baby girl colours!
